On 3 June at 13:00, ITS Working Group Standards Approval (SA) will hold its next meeting online. During the meeting, we will discuss how Sweden should vote on European standards from various technical areas.
All standards currently subject to voting are available here: ETSI Deliverables
Standards for the following radio technologies are included this time:
- Maritime radio equipment
- Wireless broadband networks
- Radio equipment and radio systems
The following additional areas will also be addressed during the meeting:
- Electronic signature
- Environmentally adapted technology
Standards for electronic signature and wireless broadband networks may be particularly relevant for small and medium-sized organisations and consumers. Standards in the area of environmental technology may be of particular interest to environmental organisations, as they concern the climate footprint of products.
The purpose of the meeting is to collect and coordinate Swedish views ahead of the voting, so that Sweden’s positions in European standardisation are well anchored among relevant stakeholders.
All Swedish organisations are warmly welcome to submit their comments in writing or register for the online meeting via info@its.se.
