Updated TETRA standards for interoperability and services

ETSI has published new versions of several parts of the EN 300 392 standard series for TETRA systems. The updates cover both inter‑network communication functions and enhancements to supplementary services.

In the area of inter‑system communication, EN 300 392-3-9 andEN 300 392-3-12 have been revised. These parts define the basic principles for interoperability between TETRA networks and specify how individual calls are handled across different systems.

EN 300 392-12-22 has also been updated. This part covers the supplementary service Dynamic Group Number Assignment (DGNA), which enables flexible management of talk groups within the network.

The updates strengthen the functionality of the standard and support the continued development of interoperable and flexible TETRA solutions.

All feedback and comments are welcome by the 22 of June.
