ETSI EN 302 186 V2.2.19 specifies the technical characteristics and measurement methods for Aircraft Earth Stations (AES) used on board aircraft for the aeronautical mobile satellite service.

The standard covers equipment operating in the 12.75–13.25 GHz and 14.00–14.50 GHz transmit bands and the 10.70–12.75 GHz receive band. It includes requirements for, among other things, unwanted emissions and control and monitoring functions, as well as methods for demonstrating compliance.
