The next meeting of the Standards Approval Working Group will take place on 16 January 2026. During the meeting, we will discuss the documents that are currently under vote. The documents are available here.
This time, the following radio technology standards are included:
air traffic surveillance
navigation radar
short-range devices
mobile networks (IMT)
fixed radio systems
maritime radio equipment
electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) for radio equipment
Other areas that will also be discussed include:
broadband and networking equipment
speech and multimedia transmission quality (STQ)
accessibility of ICT products and services
Standards related to short-range devices, mobile networks (IMT), speech and multimedia transmission quality, and broadband equipment may be of particular interest to small and medium-sized organizations as well as consumers.

About the Working Group Standards Approval
Standards Approval is the ITS working group responsible for voting on European standards in information and communication technologies (ICT), cybersecurity, accessibility, and energy consumption.
