ETSI has developed a new version of EN 300 019-1-2, covering the classification of environmental conditions to which telecommunications equipment may be exposed during transportation. The standard includes different transportation environments, such as weather-protected transportation with or without temperature and humidity control, as well as transportation without weather protection.

The new V3.1.0 version revises the environmental classes to align them with the latest publications in the IEC 60721 series. The aim is to ensure that the classification continues to reflect current requirements and conditions for the transportation of telecommunications equipment.
