ETSI has published a new version of EN 319 412-3 V1.4.0 for trust services. The standard is part of ETSI’s framework for certificate profiles and is used in eIDAS-related services for digital identity and electronic signatures.

The update includes clarifications and technical adjustments to the certificate structure that defines how electronic certificates are created and validated within trust services.

The revision supports greater harmonisation and the continued secure development of European trust frameworks.
