The document ETSI EN 301 489-57 V0.0.0 is a work item within the ETSI series on Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) standards for radio equipment and services.

It addresses Medical Implantable Wireless Power Transmission (WPT) equipment and specifies particular EMC requirements for devices that wirelessly transmit power to medical implants. The aim is to ensure that such equipment operates reliably while minimizing electromagnetic interference with other radio systems.

Once finalised, the standard is expected to provide harmonised EMC requirements for this type of medical radio equipment within the European regulatory framework.
