ETSI EN 302 194-1 V2.0.0 (2025-11) is an updated version of the harmonised standard addressing the technical requirements for navigation radars used on inland waterways. The standard places particular focus on magnetron-based radar systems and outlines the performance and functional criteria required to ensure reliable operation and accurate signal handling.

It establishes harmonised requirements for the use of radio spectrum, aiming to ensure that radar systems can operate effectively without causing harmful interference. In this way, the standard contributes to both safe navigation and efficient use of radio spectrum.
