ETSI has now published EN 301 489-13 V2.0.0 (2025-07), an updated harmonised standard for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) for radio equipment and services.

This part (Part 13) specifically covers Citizens’ Band (CB) radio and ancillary equipment, defining the specific EMC conditions applicable to these products within the EU regulatory framework.

The new version ensures that CB radio equipment continues to meet EMC Directive requirements and remains aligned with the latest technological developments.

Now it is time for ITS to vote if the new standard will be approved or not.
