The standard EN 301 489-5 V2.2.9 covers electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements for Private Mobile Radio (PMR) systems, TETRA, and related voice and data equipment.

This updated version includes technical adjustments and clarifications to better reflect current technological requirements and practical use cases. The aim is to ensure continued harmonization in the EMC domain in line with European regulatory frameworks.

The update is out for WSGA to vote on.
