ETSI has now published a standard (EN 319 142-2 V1.2.0) related to electronic signatures and trust infrastructures (ESI). It focuses on PAdES (PDF Advanced Electronic Signatures) and defines additional profiles for digital signatures.
The goal is to ensure higher security and flexibility in the use of electronic signatures across various applications and sectors.
