A new draft of an updated standard for material sensing

ETSI has sent out a new draft of an updated version of EN 302 065-4-4 V2.0.0 for approval. The standard is a harmonised standard for radio spectrum access for Short Range Devices (SRD) using Ultra Wide Band (UWB) technology.

The updated version of the standard includes specifications for material sensing devices. Once it’s approved, it will apply to exterior material sensing applications for ground-based vehicles with a frequency range below 10.6 GHz.
