ETSI has recently released an update of ETSI EN 300 468 that defines guidelines for service information in Digital Video Broadcasting systems (DVB). The standard contains several updates and improvements that enable more efficient and flexible metadata transmission within digital broadcasting systems.

The updated standard will play an essential role in ensuring interoperability and high-quality services in the DVB ecosystem. It will, for example, enable better support for more advanced technology and new types of use cases.
