The new standard TS 103 764 V1.0.0 defines the system architecture for the Future Railway Mobile Communication System (FRMCS).

Developed within Rail Telecommunications (RT), the specification outlines the overall architecture to replace GSM-R, enabling modern, safe and efficient communication for the railway sector in Europe and globally. F

RMCS is expected to become a key enabler for digitalisation, automation and increased capacity in rail transport.
